Ralph Eckard

Hunter had brother here, worked in construction


---- — COLUMBIA, Tenn. – Ralph Eckard of Columbia, formerly of Clarion, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, in his residence. He was 66.

Mr. Eckard was born Oct. 26, 1946, in Cherry Grove, W.Va., a son of Albert A. and Edith M. Lamb Eckard.

He worked in the construction business with Southern Sun.

A veteran, Mr. Eckard served in the Army.

He was an avid deer hunter.

Surviving are his children, Mary Beth Fair, Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and Aaron Eckard, Columbia; two brothers, John Eckard, Hermitage; and Albert Eckard, Sycamore, Ill.; a sister, Marti Eckard, Statesville, S.C.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bob Eckard and Roy Eckard; and a sister-in-law, Janet Eckard.
