Bethlehem Baptist member worked at Farrell plant

- — A funeral service will be held Friday for Paul M. Davis of Liberty Street, Sharon. He passed away at 2:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, in his residence. He was 48.

Mr. Davis was born July 5, 1965, in Sharon, a son of Joseph Paul and Sadie Evelyn Donaldson Davis.

Paul graduated from The Rayen High School, Youngstown.

Following high school, Paul served his country in the Army.

He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Sharon.

Mr. Davis was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State fan. He excelled in many sports including boxing and as a football player at Rayen.

Most importantly, Paul loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Paul was employed for the past five years at NLMK Pennsylvania, formerly Duferco Farrell, where he was a craneman. Prior to his employment at NLMK, Paul worked at V&M Star, Girard, Ohio.

His wife, Viki Jennings Davis, whom he married April 20, 2011, survives at home.

He leaves his three sons, Keilyn Davis, Youngstown; Paul Davis Jr., Brookfield; and Desmond Davis, Boardman, Ohio; five stepchildren, Michael Cole, Sharon; Kayla Cole, Hermitage; and Bryana Norris, Jordan Cole and Christopher Cole, all Sharon; two grandchildren, Aja Norris and Isabella Cole; two sisters, Octavis Huston and her husband Clifton; and Carlotta Moore and her husband Walter, all Tampa, Fla.; and a brother, Joseph A. Davis, Berlin, Germany.

Paul is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Service: Funeral service at noon Friday in the church with the Rev. Leon Avery Jr., pastor, officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, with full military honors rendered by the Honor Guard of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6233, West Middlesex, and American Legion Post 432, Wheatland.
