Gordon E. Cameron, 783 Airport Road, Coolspring Township, died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday (11-9-13) in UPMC Horizon Greenville. He was 71.
He was born July 27, 1942, to Paul E. and Aletha Brower Cameron.
He was a graduate of Commodore Perry High School and was a salesman for Frito-Lay.
He married the former Patricia Marshall on June 6, 1963. She survives.
Mr. Cameron was a member, elder and trustee of Coolspring Presbyterian Church.
He loved to farm, loved going boating and camping at Bay Shore at Pymatuning Lake. He also enjoyed going to his grandkids’ sporting events. The grandkids called him “Papa.”
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: four children, Connie, wife of Tom Timashenka, Kevin Cameron and his wife Beth and Dan Cameron and his wife Amy, all Mercer; and Lori, wife of Fred Dunkle, Bedford, Pa.
Also surviving are: 10 grandchildren, Zachary, Matthew, Amanda and Allison Cameron; Peter and Katherine Timashenka; Nathan and Jessica Cameron; and Troy and Tyler Dunkle; two great-grandchildren, Klaire and Emma Cameron; two sisters, Janet and her husband Fred DeWeese, Sharpsville; and Phyllis Isham, Jacksonville, Fla.
He was also beloved by many special nieces and nephews.
He’s also survived by his beloved pet, Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cheri Lynn Cameron; and a son-in-law, David Smith.

Service: Funeral servicesat 11 a.m. Wednesday (11-13-13) in the church with the Revs. John Creekpaum, church pastor, and Philip Chalfant, retired pastor, officiating.
Burial: Hadley Cemetery, Hadley.
