Rosalie T. Sulecki of 102 Woodshire Road, Hempfield Township, passed away at 9:38 p.m. Thursday (2-20-14) in UPMC Horizon, Greenville. She was 75.
Mrs. Sulecki was born Oct. 14, 1938, in Greensburg, Pa., to Joseph and Rosalie B. Bernard Kmetz.
She was a 1956 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, where she had been head majorette.
A homemaker, Mrs. Sulecki was a member of St. Michael’s Church, Greenville.
Rosalie was an outdoors enthusiast and, for many years, enjoyed camping, picnicking and canoeing, especially in the Pennsylvania mountains.
A sports fan, she loved cheering for the Kennedy Catholic Golden Eagles, all Notre Dame University athletics, and the Cleveland Browns and Indians.
She was an avid listener of Neil Diamond music.
Her husband, Richard P. Sulecki, whom she married Nov. 28, 1957, survives at home.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Mary A. Sulecki and her companion Bruce Lysek, Greenville; two sons, Richard M. Sulecki and his companion Lois Woodside, Summerhill, Pa.; and Mark A. Sulecki and his companion Valerie Blake, Palm Harbor, Fla.; a sister, Genevieve Williams, Sharon; five grandchildren, Joshua Sulecki and his companion Bri Spizzirri, Samantha Sulecki, Jessie Blake, Alex Blake and Amanda Woodside; and a great-grandchild, McKayla Sulecki.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
