---- — A memorial service will be held Saturday for Linda L. Esmond of Sharon. She passed away unexpectedly at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, in her home. She was 67.

Mrs. Esmond was born July 6, 1945, in Saint Albans, W.Va., to Thomas J. and Julia A. Johnston Davis.

Linda graduated from Sharon High School in 1963.

She was a homemaker, worked for Golden Dawn of Masury and was a hairdresser out of her home.

She attended Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage.

Linda enjoyed butterflies, ceramics, the outdoors, gardening and taking care of her flower gardens.

Her husband, Leo J. Esmond Sr., whom she married Oct. 10, 1964, passed away Nov. 11, 2010.

Surviving are: her daughter, Laura Fusco and her husband Vince, New Wilmington; two sons, Retired Chief Master Sergeant Leo J. Esmond Jr. and his wife Donna, Colorado; and Larry Esmond and his wife Kerry, Sharpsville; two sisters, Jessie O’Connell, Sharon; and Janice Hosfelt, Masury; three brothers, Thomas Davis and his wife Leona, West Virginia; Harold Davis and his wife Sandy, North Carolina; and Charles Davis and his wife Lenae, New Orleans; and seven granddaughters and four grandsons.

Besides her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Yuran; a brother, Frank Davis; and a granddaughter, Leah Yuran.

Service: Memorial service at noon Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dominic Verdell, associate pastor of Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage, officiating.

Burial: Cremation followed by a burial at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
