---- — Agnes M. Carson Froman of 344 W. Venango St., Mercer, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Countryside Convalescent Home, East Lackawannock Township. She was 88.

Mrs. Froman was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Sharon to William Henry Carson and Elizabeth Allan Carson.

She was employed at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp.

Mrs. Froman was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Mercer.

Her husband, Raymond Paul Froman, whom she married Sept. 27, 1958, died June 15, 1999.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathryn, wife of John Breese, Mercer; a brother, Robert Carson, Sharon; five grandchildren, Jonathan, William, Emily, Mary Kate and Nathan; and a great-granddaughter, Leah. They were the passion and joy of her life.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elizabeth Gathers.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday (4-6-13) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer; and 2 p.m. to time of service Sunday (4-7-13) in Bethany Presbyterian Church, Mercer.

Service: Funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday in the church with Susan Allen, commissioned lay pastor of Bethany Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. August Hurst, pastor of Lebanon Presbyterian Church, East Lackawannock Township, co-officiating.

Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township.
