Robert Paul Lizzie

Conneaut Lake business retiree had children here


- — Robert Paul Lizzie of West Middlesex, formerly of Mercer and Conneaut Lake, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Sunday (11-3-13) in The Overlook nursing home, New Wilmington. He was 75.

Mr. Lizzie was born May 2, 1938, in Mercer to Wendell and Mary Heinzel Lizzie.

He was a 1956 graduate of Mercer High School.

Mr. Lizzie retired from Street Track and Trail of Conneaut Lake.

He was affiliated with the Catholic faith and was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Conneaut Lake.

Surviving are: two daughters, Brenda Lizzie and her friend Lou Howze, Sharpsville; and Suzanne Henderson and her husband Michael, Sharon; two sons, Kirk Lizzie and his wife Rozilla, West Middlesex; and Brian Lizzie and his wife Charlotte, Youngstown; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Peg Brautigam, Mercer.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Marie, Theresa and Ann; and three brothers, Wendell, Lawrence and Joe Lizzie.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (11-7-13) in SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex.

Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday (11-8-13) in the funeral home with Pastor Jack Gilchrist of Church of Christ, Hermitage, officiating.

Interment: All Saint’s Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
