Beverly Ann Thompson

WMHS grad liked bingo, camping, flea markets


---- — Beverly Ann Thompson of Hermitage passed away at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, in her home. She was 71.

Mrs. Thompson was born July 19, 1942, in Sharon to Alfred and Vilma Daisy Morgan.

Beverly graduated from West Middlesex High School in 1960.

She was a homemaker and a social member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Hickory Post 6166, Hermitage. Beverly enjoyed bingo, camping and attending flea markets, but most of all, spending time with her grandson.

Her husband, Duane Allen “Dewey” Thompson, whom she married Oct. 18, 1963, passed away Sept. 29, 2009.

Surviving are: two daughters, Deborah Gaydek and her husband Joe, New Wilmington; and Darla Foster, Chandler, Ariz.; a sister, Shirley Hartman, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a grandson, Joseph Gaydek; and nephews, Doug, Brad, Jeff and Michael Hartman.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
