---- — Nina Joyce McMillen, 311 S. Pitt St., Mercer, passed away at 1:35 p.m. Monday (9-2-13) in Avalon Springs, Coolspring Township, after a long battle with cancer. She was 71.

She was born May 4, 1942, in Mercer to Harry H. and Nellie (Hamler) McMillen.

She was a 1960 graduate of Mercer High School.

She worked at J. Miller Express in Mercer for 32 years, retiring in 2002.

She was Catholic.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. John (Marie) Wyant of Mercer; and two nephews, Jeffrey Bowman of Pocono Pines, Pa., and Eric Bowman of Grove City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jacob and Clifford Clinger.

Service: Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Carlson, pastor of Oakland Avenue and Balm United Methodist churches, officiating.

Burial: Findley Cemetery, Findley Township.
