---- — Thomasina M. Matheson, Farkas Road, Shenango Township, passed away of natural causes at 9:24 p.m. Friday (5-3-13) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following a brief illness. She was 76.

Thomasina was born June 5, 1936, in Sharon, daughter of Arnold and Rose Grande Phillips.

A lifelong area resident, she graduated from West Middlesex High School.

She was a homemaker who loved the holidays and cooking for her family. She enjoyed playing bingo and in her early years she enjoyed playing cards and bowling.

Her husband Douglas M. Matheson whom she married Aug. 4, 1956, passed away Dec. 2, 2006.

She is survived by: three daughters, Rose M. Nale, West Middlesex; Mrs. Thomas Ohl (Gail) Hermitage; and Mrs. James (Betty Jo) Gearhart, Mercer.

She also leaves: her nine grandchildren: Brandy Keener and her husband Larry; Danny and Donald Nale; Patricia and Clarence Clark; Savannah Clevenger and her husband Jerrod; James, Matthew and Nicholas Gearhart; and nine great-grandchildren, Erika, Leni and Taylor Keener; Austin, Dominic and Colton Nale; Chloe and Ethan Nale; and Abigail Krivosh.
