Farmer lived in Greenville, liked to hunt, care for dogs


---- — Dale H. Kaufman of Greenville passed away Saturday evening, May 4, 2013, in Presque Isle Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Erie. He was 84.

Born April 5, 1929, in Zelienople, Butler County, Mr. Kaufman was a son of Howard J. and Anna M. Boggs Kaufman.

He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Mr. Kaufman was a lifetime farmer and still enjoyed cutting hay on his son’s farm.

He was a former member of the Big Knob Grange and enjoyed hunting and caring for his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen L. Heckard Kaufman, whom he married May 6, 1961; a daughter, Cindy Lou and her husband Rodger Scott, Portersville, Butler County; a son, Paul D. Kaufman and his wife Brandy, Greenville; a sister, Edna Mae Kaufman Gaertner, Mars, Allegheny County; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter.
