Judson Flint

WWII Navy veteran loved jazz, worked for Chrysler


---- — A memorial service celebrating the life of Judson Flint will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in Temple Emmanuel Seventh Day Adventist Church, Youngstown. He departed this life June 2, 2013, in his home in Hermitage. He was 86.

Mr. Flint was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Farrell, a son of Paul and Alonyer Graham Flint Sr. He was a graduate of Farrell High School and member of the Navy, proudly serving from 1944 until 1946.

He was formerly employed with Chrysler Corp.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband who loved jazz music and was devoted to his Christian faith.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, the former Joann Char, whom he married Jan. 12, 1965; his brother, Paul Flint Jr. and his companion Sarah Douthit, Hermitage; his niece, Alexis Flint, Hartford, Conn.; his nephews, Elmer and his wife Lenora Flint, Los Angeles; Janel and his wife Laura Flint Sr., Conway, S.C.; and Judson R. and his wife Diane Flint, Farrell; and a host of other relatives and dear friends including Jessica and Jeron Hollis, Hermitage.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Myrath Flint; and his nephew, Leander Flint.
