Dennis A. Gault of Masury died Saturday evening, April 19, 2014, at his home, with his wife and dog at his side. He is now in Heaven with his Lord, family, friends and pets. He was 66.
Mr. Gault was born April 26, 1947, in Salem, Ohio, a son of Floyd and Shirley Johnson Gault. He attended Sharpsville schools and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Denny worked many jobs throughout his life and began his employment at Johnson Industries, Orangeville. He later worked for many years with his Uncle Abe in the furnace and air conditioning business.
Denny loved music and singing karaoke. He was known as “Elvis” to many who enjoyed listening to him impersonate “The King.” He also enjoyed his weekly trip to Andover to play cards with his uncles, Abe, Dick and Jim Gault.
He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns (forever hoping for a trip to the Super Bowl) and Cleveland Indians. He followed NASCAR and loved Jeff Gordon.
Denny liked drinking coffee and socializing at the former Dairy Mart on Irvine Avenue in Sharon and could be found there almost any time of the day.
Surviving are: his wife, the former Ruth Little, whom he married May 12, 1972, in Church of the Nazarene, Cherry Valley, Ohio; two brothers, Brian Gault and his wife Andrea, Montville, Ohio; and Kevin Gault and his companion Darlene, both Andover; two sisters, Sherry L. Plummer, Greenville; and Arlene Money, Florida, formerly of Jamestown.
He also leaves sisters-in-law, Carol Gault, Wilma Hail, and Linda Huffman and her husband Norman, all Greenville.
Denny will be missed by his loving family; many friends, including Fred Nerone of Poland, Ohio; a special niece, Michele Eddy, who was like a daughter; and his faithful dog Shawnia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a brother, Gary Gault; and a nephew, Adam Bates.
