Ralph R. Butch (Bucci) of 407 S. Pitt St., Mercer, passed away at 11:41 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, in Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township. He was 85.
Mr. Butch was born Nov. 14, 1928, in Volant to Biaggio Bucci and Grazia Emmanuel Bucci.
He enlisted in the Marines at age 17 and served in the Marine Corps from 1945 to 1947.
Mr. Butch enjoyed working. Ralph was employed for many years by Reznor – a unit of Thomas & Betts, Mercer, retiring in 1984. He also operated school bus lines for Mercer Area School District for many years and was involved with many other businesses during his lifetime.
He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Mercer, where he actively participated throughout his life. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends and spending time with his son, Gary, and his family.
His wife, the former Lucy Jane Fascetti, whom he married April 7, 1951, passed on April 30, 1999. He got remarried on April 12, 2007, to Hilda Fascetti, and they resided at 407 S. Pitt St.
He is survived by: his wife; a daughter, Joyce and her husband Ken Bowman, West Palm Beach, Fla.; a son, Gary L. Butch and his wife Cindy, Mercer; two grandchildren, Robert D. Butch and Crystal Embry, both Mercer; a great-granddaughter, Lucy Jane Embry; two brothers, James Butch, Grove City; and Ted Butch, Costa Mesa, Calif.; and a sister, Eleanor Rossi, Michigan.
He also leaves six stepchildren, Terry, wife of Alan Northcott, Grove City; Sandra, wife of Charles Manilovich, New Jersey; Randy Fascetti, Grove City; Jancy Fascetti and his wife Mary, Mercer; Gina Foster, Utica, Venango County; and John Fascetti and his wife Sharon, Greenville; and eight stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Erma Lucas; and three brothers, Dave, Eugene and Tony Butch.

Interment: Crestview Memorial Park, Pine Township.
