Linda Sue Logan

Retail clerk made jewelry, crafted gifts for friends

---- — Linda Sue Logan passed peacefully on at 6:45 a.m. Thursday (4-18-2013) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 62.

She had resided in Farrell for the past 25 years. She was born to Garland and Ardella Ruth Adams Westfall Green at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., on May 22, 1950. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Ohatchee, Ala. Also surviving is her loving companion of 14 years, Kevin Tatusko, of Farrell.

Linda worked at Lowes Home Improvement Center, Hermitage, Smokes for Less, Sharon and Family Dollar Store, the Slovenian Home in Sharon and the Slovak Home in Farrell. She loved the outdoors, enjoying refinishing furniture and teaching crafts and jewelry making at the Senior Center in Hermitage.

Over the years, Linda presented many cherished handmade gifts to her friends and family. Linda was a dedicated Cleveland Browns fan, living with a Steelers fan, in a “divided house.” She loved country music, fishing, camping and cook-outs at “Joe’s.” She enjoyed the affection she received from her two dogs, Baxter and Guido, and her two birds, Mariah and Nacho.

Also surviving are two brothers, Steve Westfall and his wife, Betty, in Orlando, Fla. and William and his wife, Susan Westfall, in Bristol, Va. There is also a sister, Carol McIntosh, in Ohatchee, Ala., and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Jamie Logan, and her brother-in-law, Clarence “Sonny” McIntosh.

The world has lost a wonderful person, but heaven has acquired a new loving angel.

Tributes in her memory may be made to the Angel Fund of the Hermitage Cancer Center, c/o Brenda Barber, 2320 Highland Road, Hermitage.
