Robert Alan ‘Bobby D.’ Davis Sr.

Tube mill worker belonged to Grace in the Wilderness


SHARON — A memorial service will held Saturday for Robert Alan “Bobby D.” Davis Sr. of Masury. He passed away of metastatic cancer at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, in his residence. He was 58.

Mr. Davis was born Feb. 28, 1955, in Sharon, a son of James E. and Theresa V. Simeon Davis.

He was a graduate of Brookfield High School.

Robert was a millwright for Sharon Tube Co. for many years.

During his retirement, Robert moved to Las Vegas where he held various positions with MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

Mr. Davis was a member of Grace in the Wilderness Church, Shenango Township, where he conducted mission work in Haiti. The last two years of his life he spent reading and studying God’s word.

He enjoyed hunting and camping but, most importantly, loved being a father and a grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, the former ????Toni Davis Chiodo; five children, Brandy Fair, Robbie Davis Jr., Arica Davis, Abbie Davis and Tyler Davis; a sister, Sherry Sangregorio and her husband Albert; a stepdaughter, Alyssa Simpson Means and her husband Mark; a brother, James “Jimmy” Davis Sr. and his wife Lori; and five grandchildren, Dillon, Paige and Bradley Fair; and Mason and Logan Chiodo.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
