Jeffrey Lawrence Brown

- — Jeffrey Lawrence Brown of Farrell passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014, after saving a young boy from dangerous waters in Cancun, Mexico. He was 50.

Mr. Brown was born Dec. 2, 1963, in Summit, N.J., a son of Robert Milton and Helen Maguire Brown.

Jeffrey graduated from Union Catholic Boy’s High School. Following high school, he went on to obtain a degree in civil engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Mr. Brown was employed at Tennessee Gas Pipeline, a Kinder Morgan Co., where he was a senior pipeline engineer for the past 13 years.

He was of Catholic faith. Jeffrey was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6404, Sharpsville; Knights of Columbus Council 684, Sharon; Sons of Italy Shenango Valley; and Farrell Sportsman Club.

Jeffrey loved life to the fullest and looked forward to spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by a sister, Caroline Chamness and her husband David, Kingwood, Texas; a longtime friend, Jim Burns; and Jeffrey’s companion, Tracy Duez.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents.
