Nancy E. Yakimovich

Business owner had son in New Wilmington


---- — NILES, Ohio -- Nancy E. Yakimovich of Niles, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, in her home. She was 63.

Mrs. Yakimovich was born Dec. 10, 1949, in Youngstown, a daughter of Ralph T. and Helen Gildea Pallante.

Nancy previously worked as a manager for McKinley Lanes in Niles. She owned and operated Brannan’s Yogurt from 1984-1994 and currently was president of Brannan’s Square.

She was a member of St. Stephen’s Church in Niles.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Val J. Yakimovich, whom she married Sept. 6, 1996; daughter, Tami Taylor, Columbus, Ohio; son, Thomas Taylor and his wife Jennifer, New Wilmington; stepsons, Peter Yakimovich, Columbus; Paul Yakimovich and his wife Sally, St. Paul, Minn.; and David Yakimovich; sisters, Maureen Rindfuss and her husband Richard; and Kathy Yingling and her husband David, all Niles; brother, Tom Pallante and his wife Jan, Girard; and two grandsons, Cody and Cameron Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any material contributions to made St. Stephen’s Angel Fund.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Monday (7-29-13) in St. Stephen’s Church, Niles, preceded by a prayer service at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home.
