William Nathaniel Burt IV

Sharpsville man was painter, landscaper


---- — William Nathaniel Burt IV of Sharpsville, passed away at 3 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in his residence. He was 60.

Mr. Burt was born Jan. 4, 1953, in McKeesport, Pa., a son of William N. Burt III and Louise F. Frobouck Burt.

He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. Following high school, William went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree in business from Youngstown State University. Mr. Burt later in life took courses at Gannon University, Erie, to become a counselor.

He was a corpsman in the U.S. Navy, where he was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.

Mr. Burt held numerous employment positions throughout his life. Most recently he was a self-employed painter and landscaper.

William enjoyed the companionship of the dogs that he had throughout his life, most recently his dog, Ewok. He loved taking long walks through Buhl Park and enjoyed anything that had to do with being in the great outdoors.

He is survived by: a son, William N. Burt V and his wife Courtney, Fort Mill, S.C.; his mother, Louise F. Burt, Sharpsville; a stepdaughter, Brianne Grose; and stepson, Aubrey Grose, both Sharon; a brother, Stephen Reed Burt, Sharpsville; and two grandchildren, Noah and Nathaniel Burt.

William was preceded in death by his father.
