YOUNGSTOWN — Brandon Allen Adkins of Youngstown, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011. Although his life was suddenly taken last Saturday at the age of 16, this precious gift from God now has his set of angel wings.
Brandon was born Jan. 18, 1995, in Lynwood, Calif., a son of Irene Adkins.
He was a sophomore at Chaney High School, Youngstown.
Brandon enjoyed singing, dancing, watching movies and spending time with his friends and family. He loved to joke and laugh and dreamed of becoming a rapper. He loved life and tried to live it to the fullest.
He was a devoted son, brother and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother and her companion, Kevin Gipson; and his brother, Corey Adkins, all Youngstown; his aunts, Tina Confer, Robin Elhadly and Rhonda Keeley, all Farrell; his uncles, Terry Stokes, Indiana; and Thomas Stokes, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janice Stokes; and his brother, Dominic Adkins.

Service: Funeral celebration of life service at 1 p.m. Monday in the church.
