Lynda Ammann

’61 Reynolds grad worked at Greenville hospital


- — Lynda Ammann of 326 Hamburg Road, Delaware Township, passed away at 8:20 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell. She was 70.

Lynda was born in Greenville on Aug. 26, 1943.

She was a 1961 graduate of Reynolds High School.

Lynda worked as a clinical assistant at the Greenville hospital for 21 years. She belonged to a garden club and attended monthly lunches with her fellow 1961 classmates.

Lynda enjoyed cooking, baking and riding her golf cart around their property. She loved attending anything her grandchildren were involved in, including sporting events, school functions and dance recitals.

Lynda is survived by her husband at home, Richard Ammann Jr. They were married July 28, 1962.

Also surviving are: two sons, Larry Ammann and his wife Sarah, Purcellville, Va.; and Steve Ammann and his wife Mary, Fredonia; four grandchildren, Katie, Garrett, Sydney and Grant Ammann; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Ammann, Greenville.

She was preceded in death by: her father, George Cooper; her mother and stepfather, Olive (Stevenson) and Albert Kashner; and her brother, Larry Cooper.
