GENEVA ON THE LAKE, Ohio —
A memorial service will be held July 15 for David William Ingraham of South Euclid, Ohio, formerly of Fowler. He died Monday, June 30, 2014, after accidentally drowning in Lake Erie while vacationing at Geneva on the Lake. He was 62.
Mr. Ingraham was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Sharon, a son of Edward Charles Ingraham Sr. and Virginia Louise Stewart Ingraham.
He was a 1969 graduate of Sharon High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Grove City College. He then went on to earn a master’s degree in business administration in business management from Youngstown State University.
David worked in the accounting department at Private Trust Co. in Ohio. He also had worked for D and L Energy and the Cafaro Corp., both in Youngstown, and Honey Creek Construction in New Middletown, Ohio. Previously, he was part owner of the former Hometown Video stores in Hermitage, Greenville and Meadville.
He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lyndhurst, Ohio, where he had served as an usher.
David enjoyed life, especially spending time with his dog, Pearl.
He is survived by: his wife, the former Roselyn R. Best, whom he married March 15, 1975. She survives in Fowler.
Also surviving are: his daughter, Ami Gervais and her husband Justin, and two grandchildren, Aiden and Leah Gervais, all Sharon; his son, Edward Ingraham and his companion Margaret Kalimon, Pittsburgh; and his brother, Edward C. “Butch” Ingraham Jr. and his wife Wanda, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Service: Memorial service at 6 p.m. July 15 in the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Lozano, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Sharon, and the Rev. Tom Fox of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lyndhurst, Ohio, co-officiating.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Sharpsville, with cremation services provided by the funeral home.
