Beloved Disciple church member was homemaker

- — Mary L. Dankovich, a resident for 11 years of Orchard Manor, Pine Township, passed away at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014, in Orchard Manor. She was 91.

Mrs. Dankovich was born March 9, 1923, in Sanford, Lee County, N.C., to Walter and Mary Sloan Clark.

She was of the Catholic faith and belonged to Church of the Beloved Disciple, Pine Township.

Mary was a homemaker.

Her husband, Kalman E. Dankovich, whom she married Dec. 8, 1945, passed away Sept. 28, 1995.

Surviving are: a daughter, Mary Sue Lowman and Terrance Thomas, Clarion; a son, Kalman Dankovich II and his wife Crystal, Houston; two grandsons, Erik Lowman, Johnstown, Pa.,; and Ryan Lowman, Clarion; and two sisters, Ruth Thiele, Sanford; and Joan Barner and her husband Larry, Fayetteville, N.C.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Pierce; and a brother, Dewey Clark.
