---- — A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday for Christina Andrea Pelsh of Hermitage. She entered into eternal peace at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after fighting a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was 55.

Born Oct. 18, 1957, in Kenmore, N.Y., to James and Marian Craig Comas, Mrs. Pelsh grew up in a military family, living in locations including Colorado, Texas, New York and Germany.

Christina was a graduate of Clarence High School and Erie Community College, which is where she met her dearly loved husband, Bruce, whom she married April 8, 1978.

She and Bruce are the owners of Shawnee Optical in Hermitage and had the privilege of working side-by-side for 35 years.

Christina was exceptionally proud of her two beautiful, intelligent and successful daughters, Lindsay and Allison.

She was a member of Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage. She loved planting flowers and gardening.

Christina is survived by: her husband, Bruce Pelsh; her daughter, Lindsay and her husband Brandon Shaver; her daughter, Allison and her husband Eric Gantz; her mother, Marian Comas; her sister, Donna and her husband Richard Engasser; and her sister, Mary and her husband Phillip Craver.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Comas.

Christina will always be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, a caring sister and a great friend. Christina will truly be missed.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
