Donald ‘Don’ William Graham

Interstate Chemical VP of marketing retired in 2002


---- — Donald “Don” William Graham of 305 River Run Lane, New Wilmington (Wilmington Township, Lawrence County), passed away at 10:38 a.m. Thursday (5-16-13) in UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. He was 70.

Mr. Graham was born July 28, 1942, in Altoona, Blair County, to John William Graham and Alberta M. McGirk Graham.

He retired in 2002 from Interstate Chemical, Hermitage, where he was vice president of marketing.

He was a member of Church of the Beloved Disciple, Pine Township.

Mr. Graham served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1964 to 1970.

Don enjoyed his family, his home, landscaping, nature and caring for his special dog, Tess. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, most important was his strong faith.

His wife, the former Cindy Porkolab, whom he married Jan. 19, 1985, survives at the residence.

Also surviving are: two sons, Jarrod Graham and his wife Stephanie, Woodstock, Ga.; and Stephen Simpson and his partner Travis Hunt, Charlotte, N.C.; three grandchildren, Kayla, Christian and Jake Graham; and a sister, Judy Eckenrod, South Williamsport, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Stout; and his daughter, Jodi Lynn Simpson.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday (5-21-13) in Church of the Beloved Disciple, Pine Township.

Interment: Leesburg Cemetery, Springfield Township.
