- — Anna Nagy, 260 S. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, formerly of Wilson Street, Sharon, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 1:45 a.m. Saturday (11-30-13) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. She was 92.

Anna was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Colver, Cambria County, Pa., a daughter of Gabor and Julia Kolczar Petro.

She attended schools in Colver and moved to the Sharon area in 1945.

She was member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Sharon, for 68 years.

Anna enjoyed walking, gardening and working in her yard up until she was 90. She was a wonderful baker and was known for the Hungarian pastries and nut rolls she would make with her family.

She enjoyed polka dancing, especially at the former Bavarian Fun Fest in Sharon.

Until recently, she and her friends attended the senior activity day every Friday at the Salvation Army in Sharon.

Her husband, Joseph Nagy, whom she married Oct. 25, 1941, passed away June 26, 1980.

She is survived by: a daughter, JoAnne Visnyai and her husband Alexander “Buddy”, Elyria, Ohio; a son, Kenneth R. Nagy and his wife Michele, Farmington Hills, Mich.; four grandchildren, Alan Visnyai, Lisa Wilson and Michael and Robert Nagy; three great-grandchildren, Noah Mortach and Michael and Gregory Visnyai; and her lifelong friend Flora Bukovitz.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Vera Poruban; two brothers Alex and Frank Petro; and a dear friend, Betty Guba.
