Homemaker liked to play cards, make crafts


---- — Hilda E. Campbell, formerly of Sharon, passed away at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. She was 93.

Mrs. Campbell was born June 17, 1920, in Worthington, Pa., to Jefferson and Elizabeth Fink Brannan.

A homemaker, she enjoyed playing cards, making crafts and doing needlepoint and crossword puzzles.

Her husband, Glenn W. Campbell Sr., whom she married May 18, 1942, passed away June 27, 2010.

Surviving are: three daughters, Shirley A. Porterfield, Sharon; Linda G. Heasley and her husband Russell, Hermitage; and Renee L. DeNoble, Sharon; a son, Glenn W. Campbell and his wife Suzanne, Cumberland, Md.; her grandchildren, Brian Guthrie, Linette Porterfield, Jason Heasley and his wife Jamie, Matthew DeNoble and Michael Campbell; and great-grandchildren, Katie Guthrie, and Caleb and Remington Heasley.

Besides her husband, Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Catherine Roesler; a brother, Arnold Brannon; and a grandson, Dennis Guthrie.
