Cheraw native belonged to Valley Baptist, had hobbies


---- — A funeral service will be held Saturday for Daisy Mae Kitt Bradley of 27 Pebble Lane, Transfer, formerly of Sharon. She passed away peacefully Monday morning (4-29-13) in her home. She was 81.

Mrs. Bradley was born Oct. 17, 1931, in Cheraw, S.C., to Ernest and Sarah Tilman Kitt.

She attended South Carolina schools and came to the Shenango Valley in 1951.

Mrs. Bradley was a member of Valley Baptist Church, Farrell.

She enjoyed playing card games, gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends.

Her husband, Edward Bradley Jr., whom she married Feb. 5, 1949, died May 15, 2001.

Surviving are her daughters, Vickie Lee and her husband Gary, Transfer; and Deborah Jenkins and her husband Vernon, Sharon; four grandchildren, Edward, Wayne, Damielle and Daishauna; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Bradley was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Mary Bradley Townsend; and a granddaughter, Charleen. As the last of her siblings, she was also preceded in death by seven sisters and brothers, Eleanor, Fannie, Louise, Sarah, Willie, Ernest and Charles.

Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. T. James Harrison, pastor, officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
