Wendell Ray Foust Sr.

Springfield Twp. man retired from Sharon Steel


---- — Wendell Ray Foust Sr. of Pennsy Road, Springfield Township (Volant), passed away Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, in Orchard Manor, Pine Township. He was 80.

Mr. Foust was born April 2, 1933, in Parker, Clarion County, to Benjamin Sylvester Foust and Bertha Foust.

He retired from the former Sharon Steel Corp.’s Farrell plant and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Stanley Snyder Post 7465 and American Legion Richard E. Craft Post 584, both Springfield Township.

As a Navy veteran, Mr. Foust served during the Korean conflict.

He married Louise Marie Trump, who preceded him in death in 1994.

Survivors include: a daughter, Melanie R. Circillo and her husband Ronald, Florida; two sons, Wendell R. Foust II and his wife Candida, Volant; and Lawrence A. Foust and his wife Michelle, Sandy Lake; a stepson, Harry L. Perschke, North Carolina; a stepsister, Judith G. Doty, Blue Eye, Ark.; a brother, David Foust, Grove City; and 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brenda Jones; a brother, Paul Foust; and a sister, Donna Raper.

Service and burial: Graveside service at 1 p.m. Saturday (8-10-13) at Leesburg Cemetery with Pastor Tim Clark of Emmanuel Christian Church, New Vernon Township, officiating.
