Duane A. Bashor

Construction worker apprentice rode a Harley


- — Duane A. Bashor of Sharon, formerly of Malabar, Fla., passed away at 9:23 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, in his residence surrounded by his family after an extended illness. He was 57.

Mr. Bashor was born Dec. 23, 1956, in Sharon to Arthur and Helen Morgan Bashor.

He was employed as an apprentice construction worker.

Duane enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, as well as fishing and boating.

Surviving are: his fiancée, Tracie L. Blackford, Sharon; his daughter, Tanya McDonald, Ohio; his sons, Duane A. Myers and his wife Laura, Sharon; and Gary E. Bashor and his wife April, Missouri; a sister, Darlene A. Jones and her husband Chuck, Illinois; two brothers, Doug Bashor and Darrell Bashor, both Kentucky; seven grandchildren; six nieces; and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Todd Jones.
