---- — Ivan A. Virtue Jr. of Wolf Creek Township passed away at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, in Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township. He was 80.

Mr. Virtue was born May 19, 1932, in Guys Mills, Crawford County, to Ivan A. Virtue Sr. and Francis Williams Virtue.

He was a graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., and was in ROTC.

Ivan was a self-employed farmer and formerly operated a maple syrup business with his father.

He was a member of Scotch Hill Presbyterian Church, Pine Township.

His wife, the former Jane S. Smalley Miller, whom he married April 27, 1989, survives at home.

Also surviving are: seven children, Ronald Miller and his wife Inez, Grove City; Gary Miller and his wife Bettie, Sandy Lake; and Richard Miller, Sandra Miller, Deborah Gould, Julie Carr and her husband Ronald, and Jeffrey Miller and his wife Viola, all Grove City; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Lois Siverling, North East; Carol Braund, New York; and Sandra Croselious and her husband James, Clark Summit, Pa.

Mr. Virtue was preceded in death by his parents.

Service: Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (3-26-13) in the funeral home with the Rev. Evelyn Beebe of Scotch Hill Presbyterian Church, Pine Township, officiating.

Interment: Crestview Memorial Park Inc., Pine Township.
