WWII vet, cattle trucking owner worked for B&LE


- — Albert F. Hall, Kinsman Road, Jamestown, died Friday, March 21, 2014, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. He was 90.

Albert was born March 13, 1924, to Maple and Lila Floch Hall.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

A truck driver, he operated a cattle trucking business for 10 years and worked for Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad, Greenville, and Van Huffel Tube Corp., Warren, Ohio.

Surviving are: a daughter, Elaine Fark and her husband, Roy, Kinsman; a son, Greg Hall, Jamestown; a sister, Marlene Fenn and her husband, Virgil, Cortland, Ohio; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Calling hours: 10 a.m. to time of service Saturday (3-29-14) in Stateline United Methodist Church, West State Road, Jamestown.

Service: Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. John Barger officiating.

Burial: Park Lawn Cemetery, Jamestown, with military honors by Jamestown Honor Guard 5424.
