Ex-school bus driver was in last Hartford High class

— Mary K. Wehr passed away Thursday evening (9-5-13) in Dorset, Ohio. She was 70.

She was born Sept. 14, 1942, in Sharon, the daughter of Forest E. and Winifred Chappel Kincaid.

She retired after working 20 years as a school bus driver for the Conneaut Lake School District.

She was in the last graduating class of Hartford High School and was a member of the Hartford Community Church.

She enjoyed sewing and her cats. She was active all the time. She was “Kitty the Clown” for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wehr, on March 26, 2012. They were married Oct. 16, 1995.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Malora Griffith of Detroit; and Marcella Thornton of Steubenville; two sons, Charles Thornton of Hartford, Ohio, and Troy Thornton of St. Clairsville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Forest Eugene Kincaid of Cherry Valley, Ohio; and Walter Kincaid of Dorset, with whom she made her home.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle; two brothers; two sisters; a half-sister; a half-brother and a grandchild.

Memorial service: 6 p.m. Tuesday (9-10-13) at Hartford Methodist Church, 6846 Route 305, Hartford, Ohio.
