Charles A. ‘Bud’ Feydo

East Main church member was insurance agent


---- — A funeral service will be held Thursday for Charles A. “Bud” Feydo of Grove City. He passed away at noon Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, in his residence. He was 75.

Mr. Feydo was born May 17, 1938, in Pittsburgh to Michael and Anna Vanitsky Feydo.

He retired from Nationwide Insurance Co., Grove City, where he was an insurance agent from 1967 to 2004. He formerly was a real estate agent in the Grove City area and during his retirement made deliveries for Nelson’s Flower Shop, Grove City.

Bud formerly served in the Army Reserves.

He was a member of East Main Presbyterian Church and a member and past master of Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 800, both Grove City; and enjoyed hunting and motorcycles.

His wife, the former Zelma Mae McCurdy, whom he married Oct. 20, 1962, passed away Nov. 20, 2006.

Surviving are: two children, Mark Feydo and his wife Deb, Reedsville, Pa.; and Linda Taylor and her husband Leonard, Whispering Pines, N.C.; two brothers, Ron Feydo and his wife Sue, Greenville; and Bill Feydo and his wife Pat, Sandy Lake; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Fran Hardesty, Grove City.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.

Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday (9-12-13) in East Main Presbyterian Church, 120 E. Main St., Grove City.

Interment: Hadley Cemetery.
