Geneva Gunn

- — Geneva was born on May 28, 1929 in Palm Beach, Fla., the daughter of Elizabeth Lancaster Haynes.

She was a graduate of Farrell High School, class of 1948.

Geneva worked for many years as a domestic housekeeper for Myer Frank, the owner of the former Myer Frank Furniture Store, Farrell.

She was a long-time member of the former St. Paul’s Catholic Church, and she attended Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann’s Church, both in Farrell.

She is survived by: her grandson, Dana L. Haynes, Farrell, and one granddaughter, Donna M. Thomas, Sharon, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, a daughter, Selena Haynes: her husband, Charles Gunn, and a sister, Annie Walker.

Services: A memorial service will be held Monday (12-9-13) at noon in J. BRADLEY McGONIGLE FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon, with the Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann’s, officiating.
