Reva Maxine Rogers, Hospitality Care Center, formerly of Reno Road, both Hermitage, passed away peacefully at 3:55 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell, after an extended illness. She was 77.
Mrs. Rogers was born Nov. 18, 1935, in Sandy Lake, a daughter of Ernest and Katherine Klingensmith Stright.
She was a graduate of Mercer High School and the former Shenango Valley Commercial Institute in Sharon.
Mrs. Rogers had been an active member of Charleston United Methodist Church, Hermitage. Reva was one of the founding members of the church, having helped build the church, and was a member of the United Methodist Women’s group.
In her younger years, Reva had been employed as an office worker at the former National Life Insurance Co., Sharon.
She was the widow of Paul J. Rogers, whom she married May 27, 1967; he died Nov. 5, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Brian P. Rogers and his wife Cari, Clark; her two granddaughters, Elysse and Karina Rogers; and two grandsons, Conner and Caleb Rogers; along with her cousin, Pauline Jamison, Franklin.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Calvin Stright.

Service: Funeral service for Reva along with a memorial service for her husband, Paul, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. William J. Locke, pastor of Charleston United Methodist Church, Hermitage, officiating. Military honors for Paul will be presented by Veterans of Foreign Wars Hickory Post 6166 Honor Guard, Hermitage.
Interment: Mount Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
