Homemaker belonged to Notre Dame church


---- — Mary A. Fabian of Hermitage, passed away at 2:02 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage, after a brief illness. She was 83.

Mrs. Fabian was born Jan. 12, 1930, in Sharon to Guy and Mariasanta Merola Masters.

She attended Sacred Heart Schools in Sharon and was a member of Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.

A homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of her family.

Her husband, Roy E. Fabian, whom she married Oct. 4, 1952, passed away Feb. 26, 2012.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen Fabian, Hermitage; and Diana Purich and her husband Dave, Masury; a brother, Augustine Masters and his wife Gloria, Hermitage; and her granddaughter, Monica Purich.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Anna Prelee; and two brothers, Dominic and John Masters.

Service: Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage, with the Rev. Jeffery J. Noble, pastor, as celebrant.

Burial: Cremation following services in the funeral home crematory.
