---- — Eugene “Geno” A. Quartini of Masury passed away at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 93.

Mr. Quartini was born April 25, 1920, in Sharpsville, a son of Frank and Philomena Lombardi Quartini.

He was a lifelong area resident and a 1938 graduate of Brookfield High School.

Following his graduation, he worked as a laborer at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp.
