Belle H. Boger

St. Mark’s UCC member was homemaker


---- — A funeral and committal service will be held Friday for Belle H. Boger of 840 River Road, Delaware Township. She passed away at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday (10-1-13) in her residence. She was 92.

Mrs. Boger was born April 27, 1921, in Greenville to James and Ida Kiser Gill.

A homemaker, she was a member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, New Hamburg. She enjoyed cooking and baking.

Her husband, Ralph C. Boger Sr., whom she married Jan. 29, 1943, passed away June 5, 1970.

Surviving are: two daughters, Linda Hoover and her husband Dick; and Winifred McBroom and her husband Ross; and a son, Ralph C. Boger Jr. and his wife Sibby, all Greenville; three sisters, Juanita Woodworth and her husband Fred, Jamestown; Barb Telbot, Meadville; and Harriet Payne, Atlantic; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Doris LeBarron and her husband Paul, Greenville.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Robert Boger; seven brothers, Arthur Gill, Lee Gill, Ray Gill, Bill Gill, Wes Gill, Carl Gill and Sam Gill; and five sisters, Alberta Cochran, Gladys Amman, Pauline Bartholomew, Jean DiGregorio and an infant, Jane Gill.
