---- — Helen Mary Moldovan of 500 Clarksville Road, Hermitage, formerly of Riverview Manor, Sharon, passed away at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. She was 93.

Mrs. Moldovan was born July 20, 1920, at home in West Middlesex, a daughter of Stephen John and Mary Elizabeth Revai Vilagi.

She was a graduate of West Middlesex High School.

Mrs. Moldovan retired in 1983 after working for 16 years at the former Murphy’s 5&10, Farrell. Previously she worked in the cafeteria of the former Sharon Steel Corp.’s Farrell plant.

She was of Catholic faith and was a member of the Degree of Honor Protective Association.

She is survived by a son, John “Jack” M. Moldovan, West Middlesex; a granddaughter, Tracy Parrish and her husband Gordon, Mercer; a great-grandson, Jordon Parrish; three sisters, Margaret Toth, Buffalo, N.Y.; Julie Smaltz, Georgia; and Ann Vilagi, Shenango Township; and a brother, John Vilagi, Sharon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Moldovan; two sisters, Elizabeth Phillips and Mary Vilagi; and two brothers, Steve and George Vilagi.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 3005 E. State St., Hermitage, PA 16148.
