Henry Boca

Scottsdale land developer, builder was Farrell native


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. —  Henry Boca of Scottsdale passed away at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, in Scottsdale. He was 86.

Mr. Boca was born May 30, 1927, in Farrell to Frank and Sylvia Cella Boca.

Henry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

After serving in the U.S. Navy in World War ll, Mr. Boca moved from Sharon to the Scottsdale area.

As a real estate developer and home builder in Scottsdale, during his career Henry built more than 250 homes and a development on Lake Serena, Scottsdale, where he loved to go boating.

Mr. Boca was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Com_munity, Scottsdale, where he began the church’s Men’s Club.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Rossetti Boca, at home; his sons, Paul Boca and his wife Rebecca, Scottsdale; and David Boca and his wife Ruthann, Vancouver, British Columbia; his daughter, Paula Boca-Bommarito and her husband Carl, Scottsdale; 10 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and numerous relatives and friends in the Shenango Valley.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Anthony and Angelo Boca.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. in Scottsdale. A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in St. Patrick’s Catholic Community, 10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale.
