Aaron C. Byers

Mechanic was member of firemen's club


- — Aaron C. Byers, West Salem Township, died at 2:45 a.m. Sunday (11-10-13) from injuries suffered in a traffic crash on U.S. Route 322 in Crawford County. He was 34.

Mr. Byers was born April 14, 1979, in Greenville to George and Janice Unger Byers.

He attended Reynolds High School and was a mechanic for four years at Hartstown Garage.

He was a member of Hartstown Firemen’s Club and enjoyed rebuilding cars and working on engines. He also loved his dogs and most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are: his parents, at home; his grandmothers Frances Byers, Jamestown; and Helen Unger, Greenville; a cousin who was like a sister to him, Stephanie Teres of Pittsbugh; and several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Elmer Byers and Oliver Unger and an uncle, Paul Byers.
