Samantha Lynn Coast of 274 Jackson Center-Polk Road, Worth Township (Jackson Center), passed away at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, in Coolspring Township, from injuries she received in an automobile accident. She was 17.
Born Feb. 29, 1996, in Grove City, Samantha was a daughter of Timothy J. and Crystal L. Guthrie Coast.
Samantha was going to enter her senior year this fall at Lakeview High School and Mercer County Career Center, where she was voted by her peers as a leader in the computer technology department and as a teacher’s assistant. As a student at Lakeview, she had played volleyball.
She was very savvy with electronics and loved working with computers and cell phones.
Samantha had a heart of gold and cared about everybody with a genuine love for life, family and others, especially her little Chihuahua, Milo. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include: her parents; a sister, Jordan Coast; and two brothers, Timothy Coast Jr. and Joshua Coast, all at home; maternal grandparents, Randy and Margaret Guthrie; and paternal grandparents, Donald and Judith Coast, all Jackson Center; her boyfriend, Todd “TJ” McConnell, Stoneboro; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
