Sherry Lynn Mitch

Brookfield homemaker worked at Ohio company

---- — A funeral service will be held Monday for Sherry Lynn Mitch of Brookfield. She passed away at 10:10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, in her residence after an extended illness. She was 55.

Mrs. Mitch was born June 1, 1956, in Sharon to King D. Davidson Sr. and Theresa H. Treebus Davidson.

She attended Hickory High School, Hermitage, then graduated in 1992 from Shenango Valley Business School, Sharon.

She was employed at Western Reserve Plastics in Boardman, Ohio.

A homemaker, she was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Hubbard.

She loved going to church and loved the Lord, as well as spending time with her family and grandchildren, reading, crafts, gardening and motorcycle riding.

Her husband, David Mitch, whom she married Oct. 4, 1981, survives at home.

Also surviving are: her daughter, Julie Stadler and her husband Bill, Hartford; two sons, Ron Nehlen and his wife Glenda, Masury; and Dan Nehlen and his wife Marti, Mercer; a sister, Janice Adams and her husband Eldon, Utah; four brothers, David Davidson II and his wife Sue, Pleasanton, Texas; Bob Davidson and his wife Wan, Campbell, Ohio; Denny Davidson, Masury; and John Davidson, Sharon; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Peter Davidson.

Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Charles W. Johnson Jr., pastor of Cedar Avenue Church of God, Sharon, officiating.

Burial: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
