Grove City

• Jeffrey S. Elmore, 18, of 308 Spruce St., Grove City, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana after an incident at about 2:45 p.m. April 22, police said.

Hermitage

• Lisa A. Fox, 37, Youngstown, has been charged with allegedly running a quick-change scam in Hermitage, and trying to run one in Shenango Township, police said.

Ms. Fox would go into a store, use a $50 bill to buy a pack of cigarettes, and then argue that she was not given the correct change, police said.

At 4:52 p.m. Jan. 24 at Sheetz, 2381 S. Hermitage Road, she gave the cigarettes back and demanded that her money be returned, but she had already been given change, police said. She got away with $40, police said.

She tried the scam eight minutes later at Sunoco, 3371 New Castle Road, but employees checked the cash drawer, determined that no money was missing and refused to return any more money, police said.

Ms. Fox was charged by Hermitage and Southwest Mercer County Regional police with two counts of theft and one count of conspiracy to commit theft.

• John A. Anderson, 27, of 882 Bon Air Drive, Sharon, has been charged with indecent assault, indecent exposure and harassment for touching a woman at Arc of Mercer County, 850 N. Hermitage Road, where they both worked, exposing himself to her and sending her unwanted, sexual text messages between Feb. 1 and April 2, police said. Arc fired Anderson after the woman complained, police said.

• Greggory M. Zyak, 29, of 286 Baldwin Ave., Sharon, has been charged with two counts of theft and four counts of bad checks for issuing three checks totaling $357 on a closed account Feb. 28 at Olympic Fun Center, 4070 E. State St., and a $428 check for two bicycles April 22 at the Bicycle Store, 1779 E. State St., police said.

• Doreen Roberts, 40, of 1648 Jackson Center-Polk Road, Stoneboro, has been charged with access-device fraud and receiving stolen property for using a check card stolen from Hubbard to buy $500 in goods March 8 at Wal-Mart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, and $33 in goods that day from Sheetz, 2381 S. Hermitage Road, police said.

State police

• A Sharon man’s 1989 Cadillac Sedan Deville was stolen between 8:55 and 11:20 p.m. Sunday from a parking lot in Union Township, Lawrence County, police said.

• Graceland Farm Market, 1400 Sandy Lake Road, Wolf Creek Township, was burglarized sometime April 17 or 18, police said. A window was forced open, police said.

• Equipment was stolen sometime April 13 through 18 from the Common Ground Restaurant, 1416 Sandy Lake Road, Wolf Creek Township, police said. A window door was broken, police said.
