Hempfield Township

• Two people were hurt in a crash at 4:11 p.m. Sunday on Leech Road. Senes Garbarino, 90, of West Lake Road, Jamestown, was pulling his vehicle out of a driveway when he hit a westbound one driven by Audrey Lawrence, 19, of Wilbur Street, Greenville, police said.
Both were taken to UPMC Horizon, Greenville, for treatment of unknown injuries, police said. A nursing supervisor said Tuesday neither of them were listed as patients.
• Paul Williams, 28, Akron, was charged with public drunkenness, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police saw him walking along Hadley Road at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Hermitage

• Greggory M. Zyak, 29, of 286 Baldwin Ave., Sharon, has been charged with theft and bad checks for submitting two checks for $206 on a closed Huntington Bank account March 25 at Rite Aid, 1851 E. State St., police said.
• Robert L. Hartzell, 57, of Franklin, has been charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Hartzell was stopped at a DUI checkpoint at 2:50 a.m. March 15 on Broadway Avenue. Police said the saw three pill bottles in the glove compartment and an open can of beer between the feet of a passenger. During a search of the car and Hartzell, police said they found a rock of crack cocaine, two smoking pipes, two spoons, one of which had cocaine residue on it, and other drug paraphernalia police said.
• About 900 pounds of scrap carbide steel worth $11,000 was stolen between Saturday and Monday from a business in the 2000 block of Freedland Road, police said.
• Police said they were unable to arrest a man seen in a stolen pickup after he ran.
Police said they were called at 10:19 p.m. Monday to the 2000 block of Longview Road for a report of a suspicious person standing by a car at a home.
Police said they saw a pickup leaving a business parking lot and chased it into Farrell, where the driver abandoned it. The truck has been reported stolen from the New Castle area, police said.
Southwest Mercer County Regional police assisted.
State police

• A license plate was stolen from a vehicle at 2 p.m. Sunday from Main Street in Jamestown, police said.
• Copper ground wire was cut from a transformer belonging to Pennsylvania Power Co. between April 3 and Monday at the Perry Township substation, police said. A chain link fence also was cut, police said.

• Keith E. Sensesak, 25, Greenville; at 12:52 a.m. Monday on state Route 18 near Crestview Drive, West Salem Township; also charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and careless driving.
SW Mercer County Regional

• James Campbell, 38, of Freeport, Pa.; at 11:22 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Avenue and Freedland Road, Hermitage, after observing him driving from Wheatland; also charged with driving under suspension and driving too closely.
• Michael S. Stephens, 36, of 117 Emerson Ave., Wheatland; at 3:09 a.m. Thursday at Broadway Avenue and Metz Street, Wheatland; also charged with driving under suspension.
Warrant arrests
Mercer County Sheriff

• Teedray J. Craig, 21, of 260 Orange Drive, Hermitage; on Tuesday on a warrant from Mercer County Domestic Relations, and two bench warrants, for failing to appear for arraignment on a Sharon police charge of simple assault, and absconding from parole on a conviction of two counts of disorderly conduct filed by Southwest Mercer County Regional police.
Sharon

• Wayne S. Sailar, 32, of 174 Fifth Ave., Sharon; at 1:43 p.m. Monday by Sharon police on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle for an incident March 18 on Sterling Avenue.
