Greenville-

West Salem Township

• Police on Tuesday filed summary charges of having a disorderly home against Farrah Hayes, of 62 Harrison St., 32, Greenville, because they’ve been called there 24 times this year for incidents including domestic disputes and fights. The number of times police have been called to the home have gotten out of hand, police said.

Hempfield Township

• About 200 feet of copper welding cables worth $1,400 were reported stolen Monday from a Methodist Road business. The cables were cut off several machines, police said.

• Jesse Bryan, 26, James Bryan, 32, and Arthur Ragusi, 33, all of 347 Hadley Road, Hempfield Township, were charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy for stealing two CD players and an Xbox 360 starter pack worth about $500 on June 18 from a Williamson Road business, police said.

Sharon

• At 2 p.m. Sunday someone reported that $1,200 cash was stolen from a lockbox at a home in the 500 block of Buhl Boulevard, police said.

• Someone stole 40 CDs in a black case overnight Sunday from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Russell Street, police said.

• Brenda L. Szugye, 48, of 499 N. Oakland Ave., Sharon, was cited for failing to obey a signal indicating approach of a train at 3:06 p.m. Monday at West Silver and Main streets, police said.

State

• John M. Stoughton, 24, New Castle, was charged with possessing firearms without a license for having a concealed .357 magnum revolver under his vehicle’s seat when he was pulled over at 12:10 a.m. Friday on U.S. Route 19 Fairview Township, police said.

• Someone caused $5,100 damage when they threw stones and other objects, breaking almost all of the windows on the upper and lower panes of each window in a home up for sale between 10:45 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday along Hughey Road, Otter Creek Township, police said.

• Someone stole $400 from a person’s purse at about 10:20 p.m. Friday in a Perry Highway, Perry Township location, police said.
