Brookfield

• John Kaiser, 58, of 304 Elm Ave., Sharon, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday on South Stateline Road, police said.

Sharon police notified Brookfield police of Kaiser, who was found lying in a field yelling, with his pants down and an alcohol container nearby. Kaiser tried to leave when asked for identification and pushed police when they stopped him, police said.

Hermitage

• Coins were taken sometime Tuesday night or Wednesday morning during a burglary at Monro Muffler, Brake and Service, 2080 E. State St., police said.

• Sheila M. Beinhardt, 23, of 977 Baldwin Ave., Sharon, has been with charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and instruments of crime and retail theft, police said.

She was seen putting 7 DVDs and an iPod accessory in her purse at 3:57 p.m. June 25 at Sears in Shenango Valley Mall, police said, adding drug items were in her purse.

Sharon

• Dexter McKelvin, 26, of 422 Reed St., was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at home after a probation and parole agent called police after finding suspected crack cocaine in his home, according to court documents.

Police found three plastic bags containing a total 19.7 grams of crack, 12 suspected ecstasy pills and other paraphernalia in the home, court documents said.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARREST

Brookfield

• Ann Marie Hafely, 30, of Youngstown; at 12:22 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 82 after her car hit a tree while attempting to turn from Route 82 to Warner; also charged with failure to control.
