Hermitage
Douglas F. Jacobs, 36, of 618 Hamilton Ave., Farrell, has been charged with possession of crack cocaine and driving without a license.
Police said they stopped a pickup at 1:55 a.m. Monday in the 2100 block of East State Street because they had seen someone who was wanted on a warrant driving it before. Police said they discovered Jacobs was driving and was wanted on a separate Sharon police warrant, and found crack in a cigar wrapper between the seats.
Randy R. Guthrie, 18, of 1625 George St. Ext., Hermitage, has been charged with possession of marijuana, police said. Guthrie admitted that two coffee cans used as marijuana growing pots found Aug. 1 in the 1500 block of George Street Extension and the 800 block of Knapp Avenue were his, police said.
Melissa D. Stokes, 22, of 7 W. 10th St., Pymatuning Township was charged with seven counts of theft for stealing money from her cash drawer totaling $440 on July 19, 20, 27 and 30 and Aug. 1, 2 and 6 while she was an employee at Walmart, 1275 N. Hermitage Road, police said.
Andrew J. Warrender, 18, of 32 E. Patricia Drive, Delaware Township, has been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police said they were investigating another incident at 10 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 800 block of North Hermitage Road when they saw an open can of beer in Warrenders car. During a search, pot and a pipe were found in a change compartment, police said.
Sharon
Someone spraypainted vehicle and doors overnight Tuesday in the 200 and 300 blocks of Fourth Avenue, police said. Numbers were spraypainted on three garage doors and a rear door to a home, police said, and two vehicles were painted green, pink and blue. One was completely covered with paint, including the license plate and tires, police said.
Sharpsville
A 17-year-old boy from Sharpsville was charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and a curfew violation after he boy entered two vehicles and took a checkbook, keys and glasses from one in the 100 block of 2nd Street and a global-positioning system and cash from one in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue, police said. Two other juveniles were charged in the same incident with curfew violations.
Brandy L. Hollobaugh, 36, of 1015 Pryde Avenue, violated a protection from abuse order at 11:48 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Pryde Avenue, police said.
Three boys, ages 12, 13, and 14, were cited for violating curfew at 11:48 p.m. Monday on Mercer Avenue, police said. Two boys were from Sharpsville and one was from Hermitage, police said.
Someone stole a gray, 2004 Chevrolet pickup with temporary registration between Aug. 7 and 8 from the 1000 block of Pryde Avenue, police said.
Southwest Mercer County Regional
Richard L. McNeal, 41, and Edward J. Williams, 42, both of Poland, Ohio, each have been charged with theft and receiving stolen property for stealing scrap metal at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from Donald Lark and Sons Inc. property in the 3400 block of New Castle Road, Shenango Township, police said. They were stopped on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Farrell, in a pickup containing hundreds of pounds of pipe and manhole castings and corrugated tubing, police said.
Gabriel M. Greene, 20, of Jacksonville, Fla. was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Hamilton Avenue, Farrell, on charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, public drunkenness and underage consumption.
Police said they were called to a fight and were told Ms. Greene was involved. Ms. Greene was yelling at others in the area and smelled of alcohol, police said.
When police told her she was under arrest, she backed away and fought with police, police said. During the struggle, she kicked a policeman in the groin twice and in the arm once, and another patrolman suffered a cut hand and a scrape on his forearm, police said.
Ms. Greene also kicked the window of a cruiser, causing it to bulge out, police said.
Frank J. Peacock, 18, of 222 S. Mercer St., Greenville, has been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Peacock was driving a car stopped at 9:37 p.m. Aug. 7 for a spray-painted license plate at Idaho Street and Market Avenue, Farrell, when the items, including two pipes, were found on the rear floor, police said.
Jesse J. Wilson II, 27, of 1210 Dakota St., Farrell, has been charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct for punching or hitting Winfred Bournes in the nose with an object at 1:07 a.m. Saturday at Roamers Hotel Bar, 204 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, police said.
Bournes is an employee and refused to let Wilson in the bar, police said.

Jeremy Yankevich, 28, of 1849 N. Water Ave., Hermitage; at 1:06 a.m. Saturday on a warrant for felony drug charges in Ohio; also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and general lighting requirements.
