Greenville-West Salem Township
• Kimberly Walker, 25, and Lindsay Vogt, 30, both of 11 Taylor St., Greenville, were arrested for simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment under the Domestic Violence Act after a disturbance at their home Thursday night, police said.
Grove City
• A counterfeit $50 bill was passed to a Grove City business at 8:50 a.m. Thursday and traced back to another business, police said. No arrests were made.
• Someone stole $130 between 6 and 8 p.m. Tuesday from a home in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue, police said.
• Between Aug. 9 and Monday, someone broke into a home in the 400 block of Washington Boulevard, damaged the home and stole a bike and money, police said.
Hermitage
• A mother and her three children were chased from their apartment by a kitchen fire reported at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, firefighters said.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family of Teresa Pindall, 300 Orange Drive, firefighters said.
The fire that started in a skillet was mostly controlled by Ms. Pindall, but caused enough damage that she could not stay in the apartment, firefighters said.

• Mark A. Gregory, 37, Youngstown; at 1:45 a.m. Aug. 9 at U.S. Route 62 and Bedford Road; also charged with traffic violations.
